#Wooftober for mindDog
2020 has been a challenging year for everyone in Australia and mental health has never been more important. October is Mental Health Month and we decided this #Wooftober we wanted to raise awareness and help to break the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.
Exercise has proven beneficial in helping those with a mental illness by releasing endorphins and serotonin that improve your mood. Exercising regularly can reduce stress and help reduce the symptoms related to mental health conditions like depression and anxiety.
During these unprecedented times we would love you to share your adventures as well as showcase what some of our clever dogs have been up to in helping their handlers in this difficult time.
We would love to see pictures of you walk, run, cycle, skate or even hike with your furry or even scaly friends. Don’t forget to tag us and use the hashtag #Wooftober #minddog #minddogaustralia so we can see what you are up to.
