mindDog is a grass roots organisation with zero government funding and are completely dependent on donations. With 2,200 dog teams across the country we are one of the largest assistance dog organisations in Australia but with 77% of our clients on the disability support pension we are limited in the fees we can ask them to pay. Hence why we need $600 per annum per dog to keep going and with 2,200 dogs that is well over 1 million dollars a year!
